just tried quinoa. Is it supposed to be crunchy or did I not cook it long enough?

I'm sitting here eating one of my favorite breakfasts right now...quinoa (I usually cook a big batch and keep it in the frig), a tsp of evoo and a sprinkling of Penzey's zatar.

Yesterday I made "quinoa flakes". They cook in 90 seconds and taste precisely like I imagine library glue did 60 years ago. On the other hand, for not that many calories they provided 7 gm of protein.

I don't know that I will buy these again, but I am glad I tried.
