Sorry its taken me so long to reply. I was able to get more than 1000 fitness minutes last month (Woo Hoo!). But there were several days where I went over my calories. So this month would be a Great month (with the holidays) to be sure to get within my calorie range. And then when Thanksgiving comes around and I eat more than my calorie range (and I will go over at least the one day, if not more) I won't feel so guilty. I am putting that into my plan. And I will have a guilt-free Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! emoticon

Well, so far, husband and I have been sick the entire month of October! Still coughing occasionally... And came down with whatever it was only a day or so after I had bragged to my doctor that we hadn't even had a cold for over a year! Isn't that how it always works?? emoticon

Meanwhile, had an unexpected spike in blood pressure, still unexplained, that resulted in wt gain of 8 pounds in two days...not fat, but water. Otherwise, no change in weight. The week before, I had lost patience with the whole issue after almost two years of careful eating and walking with no change, and begun really pushing the exercise. Sigh.

It is back to square one, weight is back to 195, cardiologist next week, and only short level walks this week. Patience, patience!

My goal is to walk more times than the three mornings a week that our walking group hits the streets. Also, to make those extra walks longer.

The walking group's walks are getting much shorter as some members are having physical problems. Happens as members move up in the over 70 age range.

I did not get in my 1000 fitness minutes this month! I will not give up, a new month is ahead! Any fitness goals for November? Please share. Mine are to keep up my water intake and get in my 1,000 fitness minutes!

Just remember..........one day at a time;-)
