I've been walking to pick my son up from school lately. It's just shy of two miles round trip but goes so fast! And usually he is riding on something so I am walking/jogging along with him. Camera would be fun. I am always looking for a team picture every month :)
Just "mapped my route" to start exercising. The walk is just shy of 2 miles. Next, load my ipod with some good teaching. Camera? Maybe.
I need to lose 50lbs. Not very disciplined anymore. At one time when I had a walking buddy, got up to 10 miles per day. It's been a long time. LOL. Next step is to see about weight training, once I get the walking down.

I love bike riding! Although I have only done it around town. It's still an enjoyable exercise. My goal for now is to become regular again with my exercise. Last year I lost 55 pounds with SP and then moved at the beginning of 2011, that moved threw a wrench in my exercise program and I haven't been able to get back on track. My ultimate goal is to lose the 60+ pounds I have hanging around, exercise at least three times a week and increase my water intake.
My goals are to get 500 miles on my bike (again) this summer, and now that we have moved to a place where I can ride every day, that should help. Of course, we have hills (!!) here that I did not have last summer...so start up is slow.
Also, need to lose the 50 some pounds I gained during 16 winters in the Midwest. I have made the mile a day walk goal and moved it up to 2 miles, which I have hit a few times (and even 3 miles today) but not consistently. Since I refuse to go on any starvation type diet, I have not lost weight in any appreciable amount, although my figure has changed over the years.
It may be that I must just accept that I am now a grandma and will look like one!
This forum will be dedicated to sharing our goals. It could be your goals for the year, month, week or day. Whatever you have. The object of sharing is to see if maybe there are others on our team that have their eye on the same goal and to ultimately gain support from eachother to reach our goals. SHARE AWAY!
