I bought a machine that spiral cuts it and then boil it for 7-8 minutes and it's great as spaghetti. Super low calorie and filling.
I got the vegetable slicer from amazon. Not sure if the big box stores sell it or not. Well worth the money.

Looking for some good healthy recipes for zucchini, given it is readily available now. I keep trying to find a good one for zucchini patties (to bake, or fry with spray only). So far I get the edge tasty, but the center never seems to get done...got any suggestions?

tried a new recipe tonight. it was a modification from a dLife recipe that i plugged into my sp calculator to make sure it'd work. it was eggplant lasagna and it was GREAT! had to exchange pasta sauce for marinara but i ended up coming out ahead in potassium for it. emoticon

I really like the recipes here at SP....they are well thought out and usually a healthier version of the original.

I am planning on making my entire Thanksgiving dinner based on recipes from SP ( the Canadian Thanksgiving is in two weeks)

I make meals based on recipes from SP regularly. Check em out....

Sounds Wonderful. I think I will eat my string beans tonight like that.
Thank you for the idea.

Oh...Today I made a Fig and Strawberry Smoothie and posted the recipe.
I have a fig tree in my garden.

Made one of my fav summer recipes last night. Fresh green beans, steamed a bit and then sauteed with a little olive oil, chopped tomatoes and fresh chopped basil. And all right from my garden!

Why not enter them in the Recipe Calculator since you would do that anyway and then post the link here? That way everyone could just add the recipe in their Nutrition Tracker.

Here's one for Bay Scallops:
