Aug 26 - was on track all day then ate some potato chips last night! That bag lasted a long time and I'm glad it's gone, it was from my birthday celebration, now there won't be any more brought into the house!

Slipped up Tuesday at dinner but not beating my self up enjoyed the meal and had fun the tracker had no idea what i was looking for do just moving on. we shared two appetizers but so much bigger than what i think of as an appetizers . ate a small lunch so didn't do very sparky yesterday. we can do this we need to remember its one day at a time like you say we just get back on track and keep going.

emoticon Just finished my first emoticon in a series of 34 days.
This takes up August, but had already been planned as a tribute to my friend Lori, who passed away on Sunday. I knew her 34 years.

This was followed up by a kettlebell workout that I will also do for 34 days. Each year that I new my father in law, "Dad", who died yesterday.

Ate a fantastic breakfast with a small protein snack, after my workout.

Water..YES!

Ice cream doesn't stand a chance. Leave it to the others. emoticon

I am in.

I have to put an effort into my exercise. I need to push it and feel it.


August will pay off to be a good month, I just need to work it!!!

I know how great it feels to get through a work out and have sweat dripping from your face
I want to feel that way again. I have just come to a stand still on making my body feel GOOD

I commit to working out each day-- I do walk each day but that is not enough.

I'm in for #backontrack for August!

- I need to track my food more carefully

- I need to give more 'all' to my workouts

- I need to stop the mindless snacking, where I don't even think about it, I just pop the snack in my mouth & down it goes!

These 3 things are what I need to be more aware of to do better in the month of August!

You've probably read about this but if not, read on.

You know how you feel when you have a really "on" day? Where you've exercised, eaten well, and feel like a million bucks when your head hits the pillow at night? For the next 31 days, beginning August 1, we want you to make a concerted effort to have as many "on" days as possible. This challenge is a simple one, but can be amazingly effective if you simply take the time and effort to focus your energy on the little things you may have been neglecting lately. This is a social challenge, and it's easy to join. Here is all you have to do:

1) Pinpoint the aspects of your healthy lifestyle that could use some fine-tuning and really focus on those. Have you been tracking your food as carefully as you should? Have you really been giving it your all during your workouts? Have you been letting mindless snacking get the best of you? Be honest with yourself to find the areas of your routine that need some extra help. Then, make a commitment to work on those little things consistently for the next month.

2) Share your progress and accomplishments with us

3) The most important thing is to not give up if you do have an "off" day. This challenge is not about all-or-nothing thinking; it's about doing the best you can. If you slip up, get right back on track at the very next opportunity—no pity parties allowed!
