Mmm for the most part i accomplished the goals. I only lost two pounds instead of the 5 but hey it's something. I did get about 30 mins daily though a ton of it was walking. And I did struggle to get at least six cups in a day. So yay!

So I have yet to do the 5/20 challenge but I did the 5/22 challenge this morning after my NTC. And I didn't see yesterday's challenge till right now. I have a feeling I will not be getting that in because I'm going out with a friend to Elora's BUT I will try it for tomorrow I guess! I did make dinner yesterday so I was very proud of myself but I had two sides of fruit, hahahahahahahah!

Try to get in your 8 cups of water for today! Remember you dont have to drink just straight up water! You can flavor it with some slices of fruit like oranges or limes, you can drink selzter water. Just try to get in your full 8 cups by the end of the day!

I messed up on this challenge! lol I had only one side of veggies, potatoes, and by the time dinner was done I was WAY too hungry to make another side and to take a picture... Sorry! lol

lol poor tucker and his pooping problems! By the way awesome job on the amount of fitness minutes for the month! And the month aint even over yet! lol

Did the five minute ab workout when I went to the gym! I usually do the elliptical or stairmaster, then after that do some stretching on the mat, then get in my ab workouts! Woohoo!

I did 2 nice long walks yesterday! I did the walk to my job, and I walked home! The walk home was really nice cause i got to take my time. I didnt take pictures either but I had my music on and it was so nice! It was super sunny, the trees were sort of canopying? lol The side walk to the sunlight coming through the trees were so pretty and I am REALLY liking the song Glowing by Nikki Williams so it came on at that moment and I litterally closed my eyes and took in all the happiness I was feeling! Luckily I had my sunglasses on so nobody could notice me closing my eyes and walking at the same time lol!

Gonna do the walk home again tonight! It helps me destress too so I like it!

I did that this morning! I took the dog out for a long walk, was out about 70 minutes. Did not take pics but I did have an earphone in while we walked. And it was already really warm this morning because my dog collapsed once we were on the walk back along the pier, lol! He has this thing now where he just gets too hot and tired and he slows down, sometimes he looks at me and sometimes he doesn't, but he slows to a stop and just plops his belly down on the cement as if to stay, "Ok, we're gonna hang here for a bit. Sit down with me." LOL. He did it like three times and I sat with him twice and kept giving him water that he kept peeing out when he saw a bench he wanted to mark his. emoticon

PS - I did not see yesterday's challenge till right now at work so I will probably try to get this in tomorrow when I do an ST workout!

It has turned out to be a beautifully sunny and warm day! I want you to go for a nice walk. It can be a 10 minute walk or an hour walk. Take pictures, listen to your music, just enjoy the outdoors while burning a few extra calories! lmao awesome! I did good saturday for lunch, I cant remember what I had for breakfast... lol But yesterday I was totally hungover so didnt eat anything until dinner and for dinner we had burgers emoticon lol But at least I got in one healthy meal!!!

I don't know that I got a full serving of fruits and veggies yesterday. I ate eggplant, had spaghetti sauce which they say qualifies as servings of veggies, had an apple, a banana and blueberries. So I don't think I made the numbers but I did pretty well actually, lol!

I nailed my fiber yesterday with the eggplant! Like WHOA!

I don't have an outfit in mind mostly because I just haven't had the time to go looking. I would think bikini more than outfit anyways but I just can't go bikini shopping at work the way I used to. I will see if I find one maybe on tumblr tonight and reblog it or something!

Summer is right around the corner which means less clothing and showing more skin! If there is an outfit you want to buy/wear or a bikini you want to look good in while at the beach post it up on your sparkpage, or in a blog, or print a picture of it out and hang it up somewhere where you can always see it so it gives you even more of a reason to continue working hard!

I am going to be able to get that cooking in today so yay on that game plan being resolved. Then I can get leftovers for lunch at work. I am also on my way to a full day's worth of fiber today so that's good too. I hit up the fitspo tag on tumblr yesterday (although I don't think I reblogged anything fitspo) but I was motivated by a girl who had started Insanity and she blogged about how well she did which was as well as could be expected from a first timer, LOL! She was wheezing halfway through the warm up which sounded awfully familiar to me. And today I've gotten a ton of fruits in and plan on working on my veggies for dinner! Maybe a salad...

My game plan this week is to make sure I get in AT LEAST a 15 minute workout and to work on getting my 8 cups of water in. I have off of work, on vaca, and whenever I am home I always forget to drink water.. I do great when I am working cause I always have my water bottle near me and I can fill it up real quick, but at home I always end up with just 2 cups of water and thats usually at the end of the day when I am super thirsty and dont know why lol!

The Challenge for 5/10 - It's always fiber. I never make it with the fiber. I can try it today to see if I hit it.

Ok I did 5 minutes this morning, did a bunch of core work, leg raises, crunches, bicycles, leg climbers ( i think thats what they are called), plank, bridge, pushups! But tracking it on my fitness tracker is confusing/annoying lol But I did it!

Geez I'm already late for this one...

Challenge for 5/07/13 -


Copy, fill out and paste your goal plan on the thread!

Goals -

1. Work out at least 30 mins a day. Or 25 mins. The NTC workouts are 25 mins with a 5 min stretch/cool down.
2. Try to get in at least six cups of water a day.
3. Lose five pounds by Memorial Day. That magic number for two reasons: It gets me out of a certain weight range and into another one. And two because I think it might seriously be a challenge. Five seems like a lot but at the same time feasible if I put my mind to it.

Motivational tips -

1. Tape some fitness pics to your fridge. I have been doing that lately, tearing into magazine and smacking them up on my fridge so I can be reminded every day. I also printed out a daily spark article and tossed it up there.
2. If you're a morning workout person, sleep in your workout clothes. You're already halfway to being prepared to work out if you do.
3. If you're an evening workout person, keep your workout/gym stuff ready to go and GO right after work. If you sit even for a second, chances are you won't want to get up to work out after.

Goals -

1. I want to lose at least 3 pounds by memorial day
2. I want to try and get in at least 4 workouts a week
3. I want to try and get in my 8 cups of water every day at least up until memorial day!

Motivational tips -

1. If you have an account awesome, if not think about maybe getting one, but tumblr and pinterest have a lot of motivational pictures and post that you can repost to keep you motivated!

2. Get yourself a motivational journal. Write whatever you want in, cut out pictures from magazines that you like, that motivate you, or that means something to you and paste them in your journal. I like starting off each entry with a quote of the day.

3. If you have a smartphone check out fitness apps. There are so many free and great fitness apps and sometimes just trying out new fitness apps kind of gets you excited to try out the workouts or challenges.
