I love seeing glimpses of the rarer animals. We saw a baby bobcat out walking in the park a few years back.

Just got back from our walk up our hill...nice, just at dusk when the sun has sunk behind the mountain but one can still see well to walk.
It's uphill a good ways then flattens out a bit.
Nice night for a walk!
Night before last a pair of Kites flew around over our heads and one was talking in Kite.....Kittering. Really neat as I'd never heard them before. In fact...seldom see them at all!
Almost every night I see an owl.

While I was at my son's this week, I went to bed earlier because they go to bed early and get up early. I'm hoping I can continue to do that. I was up at 6:30 this morning (and I don't use an alarm clock) so should be able to go to bed around 10 or 10:30. I was staying up until midnight. I would have a snack when I took my pills before bed (I take melatonin and flexeril for sleep plus other vitamins, minerals and supplements and like to have a snack with them). That seemed to trigger more eating. If I go to bed right after, I won't eat. If I'm not sleepy, I can always take a book with me to read until I get sleepy. I'm going to try this and see if it helps.

Last night I really wanted to snack but instead I went to bed. I think part of my problem is that I stay up too late.

I have heard of making bar soap, but not laundry soap. Huh?

Took the weed eater out at 10pm last night to avoid snacking. It really helped and the yard looks better in the light of day.
