Finished Bootcamp Tuesday. Those seated leg lifts are definitely some work. Now I'm off for an hour of walking!

Edit - Aaaand finished my 5.5 mile walk. Seem to have rounded out my day somewhere around 12k steps. Woohoo!

I did 40 minutes on the bike today and lifted weights for upper body this morning. I plan on doing videos 5, 6, 7 tomorrow.

So, how does the challenge go? Do we repeat the, same videos for Week Two?

I did video 5 last night and video 6 today...I enjoyed them. They challenge me much more than I thought a 10 minute workout could. I'm looking forward to keeping up with them throughout our challenge!!!

Oopsy, I missed my Zumba class tonight. I thought it was at 8 pm, but it was at 7 pm. Sooo, I did Videos 1-4 tonight. I signed up for that bootcamp when I first started SP and barely got through the first video. This time, I definitely worked up a sweat, but it was a healthy workout, not one where I thought I was gonna die!!

Nice motivational quote, Redjewel. My latest is: I might slip up, but I don't give up.

Got my day 4 bootcamp video...I really like this one; it's for abs. I could do all the movements, even the modified plank. I will ride my bike tonight as I couldn't get myself going earlier this morning; I'm having a harder time getting my exercise bike time in before work on the days I open...maybe 4am is just too early? I'm still trying to push, and I will get it and either a walk or ST in tonight (which one will depend on the kids' homework). Facing some time and motivational challenges, but I'm going to push through & I will stay on track. This is too important to me, and as my motivational quote I chose to stay on track reminds me...this is a commitment not just an interest.

I know they may not be your favorite activity, but let's all try to do the Boot Camp videos.

They're only ten minutes each, and since we're all doing the same thing, it gives us the chance to commiserate, compare progress, etc.

Plus, we all know that changing up our routines every so often is a good thing - helps with plateaus and working new muscles!

Do them in addition to the other things you're doing, and get the extra movement we all need to be BEACH READY!

We can do this!!!

tuesday.... 2 walks with the dog and a personal training session over lunch w/ my trainer

wednesday.... rained all day :( even snowed a little!! got in 1 walk after work.... it stopped long enough for us to get out for 30 min. brrrr!!!!

I've been doing the videos...I just finished the day 3 video. I just have been rushed & haven't had a chance to post. I like these, but it is definitely going to take me time to work up to being able to do all the exercises. So far the jump backs on day 1 have been the hardest (I had to go back to earlier marching exercises during this portion because I was afraid my back was not yet strong enough for these). The jumping jacks were a bit rough as well (but that has more with being a well endowed bouncy girl), so I had to do the modified ones (to, as my dad puts it, avoid giving myself a black eye emoticon ). I was able to keep up with the day 2 exercises pretty well. Then on the day 3, I did good, but the dips and the pushups, I had to go slower and shallower on these for the time, but I'll build up to them (the pushups will still be a challenge for a while--again have to watch the back). Great videos and I look forward to continuing on with these.

11/7 - Oops, I'm really horrible about completing those videos. Instead, I went to the gym and swam laps for 40 minutes before my Aqua Fit class, which lasted 50 minutes.

11/8 - I have an hour of Zumba scheduled tonight.

Wednesday through Friday are my strength training days.

Did you do your boot camp video today? (If not, why not?)

Check-in here every day and let us know how you're doing!

* * * * *

I haven't yet (it's 9:20 PM), but am going to do it now. Especially since I just posted this - now I have to! :)

UPDATE: 9:33 PM. Boot Camp Day 1 COMPLETE! (Need to work on those bend - jump both feet back - jump forward - stand exercises though. Geez! Who knew?!)
