I am also loving the olympics! They are always a bit mesmerizing...but this year especially I am so inspired! I have learned over the last 8 months that I have a bit of an inner athlete in me - something I would have laughed at in the past. I have pushed myself physically - running, kickboxing, dancing, strength training - and I'm still over 220lbs. I've been learning to love tracking progress and loving to sweat also...I think it makes me feel like I can understand these olympic athletes a tiny bit more, and watching them inspires me to keep pushing and push harder. The human body and it's capabilities are so amazing - It's great seeing some in action in top form!
So far some of my faves are beach volleyball(especially women's), swimming, gymnastics...I'm looking forward to the running events and soccer!
Now, we just have to make sure not to spend too much time laying around watching tv - hard to tear ourselves away from all the coverage! Bonus if we can work out while watching! ;)
