Me and my family are in a weight loss challenge and lately everyone has not really brought much of a challenge. But I introduced all of them to this site and challenged everyone to track and exercise. We all were assigned buddies to help each other stay on track. And Monday we met up at a local park and walked the tracks. Does my spirit good to see my family looking to get healthy together.

Didn't think I was seeing any progress with my clothes, but today I noticed my work pants do seem loose and I can take them on and off with out undoing them. I didn't pay attention to how tight they were before, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't do that.

I did not eat the free pizza at work despite it being place in my area and co workers teasing about not eating it

I nearly had a wardrobe malfunction at church today. I lead small group worship at church with K-5 students and do a lot of jumping and dancing. Today I jumped up and my pants slipped down a little more than usual. emoticon Not below my Tshirt, but it was a near thing...

I got through a whole one mile walkfit program and actually broke a sweat instead of getting discouraged and quitting. The scale isn't moving in the right direction yet, but I'm getting used to exercising again.

For the last couple of weeks my friend's mom has been asking me what I do for exercise. I assumed she was just asking this because in my village nobody exercises so it's weird that I do. Today I was talking with my friend about how the kids in my sunday school class don't rub my belly anymore, even though they still like to squeeze my arm fat, and her response was "that's cause your not as fat as you use to be. That's why my mom always asks what you do for exercise, cause she can tell your not as fat" Now considering I live in a tiny village in the Andes mountains where being called "gordita" or "Flackita" isn't so much an insult as just a statement of fact....I'm choosing to take this as a compliment...and I'm pretty excited that after weeks of all the hard work I've been putting into this weight loss journey, people are FINALLY starting to notice!

when I sent my kids outside to play today, I went out with them. I walked around and made sure I stood and not sat. That was a huge victory for me today!

Today I got out of bed by 8am. This is a victory for me because I never have anything "to do" until after 10. So getting up and being productive early is new. And I did it naturally, not begrudgingly.

This week, when I needed to get something to eat during the workday, I went to a local bagel place for a bagel with cream cheese instead of McDonalds for a meal plus a burger. I am sure that resulted in 1000 less calories, and it was just as satisfying (if not more so in a certain way because I'd rather put my money to local businesses).

This may sound so simplistic, but for me it's important to my health. I am anemic and have had little to no energy for almost all of 2014. (it was not my year)...some of the fatigue might have also been due to sluggish thyroid and fibro.

Anyhow my non-scale victory is that for the last 3 days I have remember to take my Iron supplements and other vitamins. I find it so hard to remember because I can't take them with my other medications.

I did my 2nd day of Circuit training - and I only had to pause 1 time during the shoulder press and 3 times during abs! :) Last time I had to stop like 3 times during the shoulder press!

Weight loss came to a screeching halt for me this week; however, I am staying positive. I kept on track with my calorie intake and fitness, drank a plentiful amount of water, plus noticed I am smaller through my torso ;-) So, I didn't let it bother me. I know I am developing healthier habits and I feel so good!
