Thank you for the "goodie" the other day. I tried to return one but messed it up & sent it to myself! lol

I was a busy day but managed to get it all done except for the fruit. That is my constant battle.
I'ss just try again tomorrow :)

Night work is tough -- I wish you the best!

So far I've kept on track, except for writing in my journal. I don't know why I've got such a block about that one. I guess that's why I made it one of my goals.

4. 15 minute work out
5. 120 cardio walk

tough week end - need to sleep most of the day
(night worker)

Good idea! I've been thinking about lofty goals, getting back to basics would suit me better.

1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
2. Get outside for a walk 5 times a week.
3. Eat 5 fruits/veggies per day.
4. Journal at least three days a week.
5. Keep under 1550 calories per day.

Number 4 will be my biggest challenge!

I found this in the inactive threads, but I think it is well worth reviving.

Set your own 'basics', then sign in and to keep us updated & yourself on track.

Here are my basics:
1. 8 glasses of water
2. stay in my calorie range (below 1500)
3. eat 2 fruit servings
4. eat 3 veggie servings
5. 15 min. work out, 5 times a week
6. 15 min cardio, 5 times a week

My challenge is to watch what I eat, stay away from sweets and once the New Year arrives start back to weight watchers and the gym.

I am challenging myself to start drinking 8 glasses of water again. I have been getting in an average of 4 a day!

My goal for the week is to use sparkpeople. When I'm not working (which I won't be for the rest of the year!) I don't tend to log in, which makes it tough to track calories or get motivated to work out!

Drink at least one glass of water first thing in the morning.
Exercise second thing in the morning, cardio x 5 a week, strength training x2 a week.

Eat between 1350-1690 cal. a day.

I think I've been doing ok on the last part, but I seriously slipped up on the morning routine thing, and missed a few days altogether.

I don't know about you guys, but I've really had a hard time keeping on track since Thanksgiving. My goals this week are back to the basics (restricted cals, exercise, and accountability)

1) Stay under 1550 cals per day
2) Exercise 4 times this week
3) Write in my blog and post every day

Feel free to include your own goals.
