I agree. I have my good days but too many bad ones to go along with it! I'm still determined but I need strength to somehow ignore the candy dishes of chocolates and the cafeteria at work! How many calories do you try to eat each day? Sorry I went missing! Haven't been on ths scale, probably no progress. BTW, thanks for the goodie.

I'm wondering if 2 lbs a week is an unrealistic goal for me. I'm not giving up yet!

Good news - 4 lbs down since Christmas
Bad news - just did a mid-week weigh-in and my scale is STILL stuck. Did gremlins pour superglue in the thing when I wasn't looking?

Congrats on the nose job! I'm hanging in there, too. I'm really pleased with this week. I've been tired, not gotten enough sleep, have been out every evening, eaten on the run, and managed to stay in cal range. I've gotten up and exercised everyday, especially when I didn't feel like it. The @#$%^& with that ornery scale!

I'm jealous about the motorcycle.

Good Morning! Sorry to hear about all the hard work and no loss. I have not seen any loss either but I know, I'm to blame for that. Chin up! Your body is changing and gaining muscle. Hang in there with me OK? During my workout today, I felt the energy I had lost! No more excuses for me, time to dig in and eat right, let's get this done. =D. I'm a passenger on a motorcycle and don't want my hubby to have to handle all this extra weight! Guess what? I got my nose pierced on the left side yesterday! I really love it!

Second week in a row, no loss. emoticon I was hoping for at least ONE pound. emoticon I've exercised the best I can and eaten in mid cal range except for Sunday. This moment it makes me feel really bad. That's 4 lbs I haven't lost to reach my 2 lbs a week goal by Feb 15.

Thanks! I am feeling better, but I'm sure this week won't be a loss. I was really disappointed not to make my 2 lbs last week. I'm about to go add a walk to today's fitness minutes. I'm hanging in there anyway! emoticon

Well the cold is hanging on. I don't have the same energy I normally have =( last couple days could only do 2/3s of kettle bells I can normally do, but still doing 30 on elliptical. Forgot to weigh in, I like Fridays for that but last fri I was down 1, yaay. Not feeling like this week will result in a loss but feeling like the cold is on its way out. Taking it day by day. I can do this! We can do this! Hope you are feeling better too!

Hope your cold is gone. I've had an upset stomach for a few days. It felt so good to feel relatively normal today. I'm back on track and kicking up my fitness minutes. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Good to see it was easy for you and made it through without too much damage. I enjoyed my splurge Sat and put it behind me. Had good rest of weekend and today as well. 20 mins kettle bells and 30 elliptical this morning. Feeling hungry but pushing to make it through. Still not feeling myself with this cold. Hope all is well with you

Take a look at my Day 10 Really good through no fault of my own blog for a laugh about that dinner. I couldn't eat most of it! No food, no extra calories!

I planned a splurge today but kept it reasonable. Went out for ice cream, but stuck to a small cup, not the huge deluxe choc-dipped and sprinkled cone I usually get that holds LOTS of ice cream even if you say single scoop. I brought my own sprinkles to put on my coconut frozen yogurt. My mom laughed at my sprinkles, but they were a much much lower cal treat than that deluxe cone would have been.

emoticon I'm right there with you! Really wanted a cheeseburger and onion rings yesterday but just pushed forward and made it through. =D I have one splurge each week to keep me going, gives me something to look forward to and keep the metabolism going. I'm waiting on Saturday for that! Been doing 30 mins on elliptical each day, usually do 60 mins but have something going on with my sinus and lungs so not pushing so hard. :(
Good luck at dinner tonight! Have what you want, just remember moderation. You can do it! emoticon

One week down! I feel good that I've gotten back into some better habits. I've exercised every morning, stayed within cal range, drank my water--and lost my 2 lbs! Looking forward to next weigh-in! emoticon

So far so good. Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. It will be only 5 days since I started, so I don't know if 2 lbs will have happened, but I know I'm losing something.
