Although I'm nowhere near their level of fitness, I also find it motivational to browse the pages and blogs of people in the fitness industry. A few that I really like are:

-Fit to be in Your Kitchen, which has a Facebook page that highlights their clients' success in addition to their own site. I'm in touch with the owner of this business, Ruben Sandoval, from time to time and find him to be extremely supportive of all people who are looking to reach their weight loss and fitness goals. I've never even been a client of his and he has never hesitated to offer encouragement when I've stopped by his Facebook page:

This article describes a study done on women who wanted to lose weight being taught maintenance techniques BEFORE trying to lose weight. It is thought this makes for a greater chance of lasting success.

Here is a GREAT resource that I have used over the last few years. They do no have any recent podcasts, but their website has a library of them that are very worth listening to. I keep these on my smartphone to go back to listen to when I am exercising...

Leigh Peele has some great free iTunes podcasts and blog posts about fitness and nutrition, binging, maintenance, training, etc.

What I love about her stuff is that she reads the literature carefully and pays attention to evidence-based approaches.

The Fitcast sometimes features Leigh and includes a personal trainer as well as a physical therapist. More emphasis on the training, but also good, free, science-based information.

TINAJANE76 started a thread with a really good theme, and I didn't want it to get lost in the general discussion forum so I'm moving it here. I hope everyone can find it here easily when they're looking for resources.

Many of our members use resources outside of those we can find here on SparkPeople to help ensure their ongoing success. Another member, MANDELOVICH, recently turned me on to a great series of podcasts by Renee Stephens called 'Inside Out Weight Loss' that I think are wonderful for aligning our mind, body and spirit so we can be successful in managing our weight. Although some of her podcasts are geared towards those who are at the beginning of their weight loss process, I think many of them are totally relevant to people who are maintaining:
