I finally had my first Colonoscopy this past Wednesday. It went really well. I spent most of Tuesday evening of course in the bathroom. I started drinking my prep at 5 pm and finished up by 9:30. By 10:30 I had my last BM of the evening. At one point I just took my computer in with me. It made it so much easier. I slept straight thru the night and got up at 5:30 to go to the hospital for check in. Once there I was escorted to a small area where I got changed into a hospital gown and proceeded to have a few more BM s. Oh joy! I kept feeling the urge to go! The nurse checking me in was asking questions etc. so I soon forgot about the urges. I was wheeled into surgery and within 2 min. I was out for the count I didn't even wake up to hear what the Dr had to say! My sister was with me and told me he gave me a clean bill of health and would see me in 10 yrs! Woo Hoo! I can certainly wait for that prep! Hope all who read this can go forward with no fear of the unknown! Good luck to all!

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you break down goals into smaller steps, it isn't even that hard. All you have to do is say "yes" to the right thing!
