1 scoop Garden of Life Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder 8 ounces skim milk, or non-sweetened vanilla almond milk (I use almond milk) 1/2 cup of frozen fruit, or mixed frozen fruit of your choice Throw in a few ice cubes and blend thoroughly.
I use Weight Watchers caramel smoothie powder (you could actually use one serving of protein powder if you have some) and I add 1 C of skim milk, 1/2 C of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice to taste. I add 10-12 ice cubes to the mix and blend it until smooth (in a smoothie maker or blender). It makes a thick, cold, milkshake. This recipe is for just one serving and it is fairly large so I either drink it for a meal or split it into 2 parts for a snack. The milk and protein powder give this a good amount of protein and the pumpkin packs vitamins and some fiber. It is delicious and filling! Next time I will try freezing it without adding the ice cubes and see if I can make pumpkin ice milk!
