I think Fitbit helped me gage what I needed to do, it really motivated me to also look at what I was eatingvs. what I was burning, I didnt realize I burned so much just by breathing and living and moving around

it launched me into wanting to be healthy and helped me just develop going to the gym as a habit, so even if i dont wear it all the time now, i still love it

I kind of just discovered the streaks, and I'm super excited about them, lol. (yes I'm a big dork). I have notebooks around the house full of to-do lists, and I think I'm going to switch to using sparkstreaks for that....it wastes a lot less paper. lol. I made all my daily to-do's into "other goals", and am tracking the streaks on each one. It'll be fun, and maybe since they're all on my sparkpage, I'll feel a little more accountable even if no one reads them. I'll want to do it anyway just in case someone looks at it.

This statement came from one of our fellow Stay At Home Mom's....she is very wise.

One day at a time. One hour at a time. One minute at a time.
The frustration. The confusion. The indecision. The uncertainty. It will come and then it will go. It's just a matter of time. And if I can do one minute, I can do one hour. If I can do one hour, I can do one day. Then, one day, I won't even remember that this day happened with all of its uncertainty, indecision, confusion, and frustration.

This was written by: I_CANDOTHIS

This saying really hit home to me...whatever is going on in our lives that we think is just too much to bear....think of this and it will help get you through.

Thank you! It is very encouraging!! I'm still having trouble. A lot of the trouble I was having had to do with my computer, but I'm still having trouble so it must be something with my computer settings and/or the SP website.

This is off subject, but I need help. I have been having major problems tracking. I add foods to my tracker and they dont get tracked even though I get the message that they have been. I try to put foods from the regular database and from my favorites into my tracker and they don't register. This has been very frustrating as I am wasting time trying to track and my tracker isnt registering. As far as I know, I have been staying within my allotted calories, however I am losing motivation and wanting to stop Sparkpeople all together. I tried to send a message on the Site/Technical Problems message board but cant seem to find where to send a message. If anyone knows how I can get this fixed, I would grately appreciate any advice. Thanks!

My water streak is up to 35 days. Hooray! The rest of my streaks need a little bit more work....

Here is one way to keep us motivated....it is an article on "Streaking" - and I don't mean the running naked around town. Spark Streaks are a great way to challenge ourselves.
