I do both. I've found that it's difficult for me to maintain without exercise. And it's a great stress reliever for me.

Mimi, I don't like to exercise and never did when I lost the weight however I found out that when I did start using the stationary bike, I went down a size and still weighed the same. Just looked better. So that was a perk! emoticon

Exercise is not my cup of tea...
Until now, work in the garden has been a great exercise. Now it is time to go back to walking and swimming.
I can easily maintain my weight loss by eating healthy. The habit I still need to work on is consistent exercise.
I ONLY have worked on the exercise habit for 101/2 years, and it has not become a consistent habit yet......
At least I have patience....smile



I'll celebrate 10 years of maintenance on July 2nd, 2014!

I do both, exercise makes my clothes fit better, and it makes me feel better. But they go hand in hand. Exercise alone, doesn't work for me.
