Cindy and Irish

Both of you just wrote exactly what I wanted to write.
It does happen to me too, especially before we go away. I also like the house to be spotless so when we come back it is a good feeling. Also all the paper work has to be done because when we come back, there is a large pile of mail.

You've had a very full day, now wonder you felt exhausted.
We really need to give up something and not do it all.

Probably there is a connection to weight loss. The more tired we get, the less control we may have over our food choices.
But mostly for our overall health!

If I'll set time every day for certain things that need to be done, it will be much easier for me. Even 30 minutes a day or 15 minutes will do the trick.

Have a wonderful Sunday

It has happened to me many times. Thursday I had 4 places to go and it was so crazy. Went to the Y, came home, eat lunch and showered. Next, had to mail somethings at the post office. Then went to watch my gd in her swimming lesson class. Came home did a few things, then left to help with a Good Shepherd class (6-9 yr olds) from 4-5:30 and got home at 6, ate diner and had to clean up. I was so exhausted, trying to do it all. Sometimes, we have to give something up and just relax and enjoy the moment.
Lately, I usually do that, but THAT DAY was just too busy. Thanks for the reminder Mimi. emoticon emoticon

YES! I get like that every time we get ready to go away. I am bad at procrastinating and I try to get it all done before we go. I need to get better at that. Do things way before leaving so there is NOT to much to do before leaving.

You know....laundry, packing, food, cleaning and bathrooms. I like to come back home to a clean house. Don't you?

Stop trying to do it all - Food for Thought!

Take time to smell the roses.

Do you find yourself sometimes just running from one thing to another, getting overwhelmed and stressed over doing too much in a short time?

Maybe it is a good idea to stop, take a deep breath, and think again what we want to eliminate, so we can take time just for us: relaxing time.
Stop trying to do it all.

Any thoughts?
