Cindy,
If it were only that simple! emoticon As you know many more factors are involved.
Remember if the number remains higher on the scale, it just might be extra muscle from all of the activity you put in! emoticon It is always useful to look at the whole picture.
Glad both you and Jenae are resting well!

A majority of the time.....I don't have a problem.....If I have a bad night I try to take a nap during the day since I work at home. I can do that. SLEEP IS IMPORTANT!

My problem ? is is why if I do get 6-8 hours a sleep a night weight has NOT melted off of me.?

Sleeping is so great right now.
Have finally aced the routine thing.
Every nite at 11:00 pm my eyes close in a hurry and usually don't open until six or seven in the morning.

Mimi,
I appreciate your thoughtful comments. I have used Melatonin and it sometimes will help put me down, but not really asleep on its own. The sleep I get is lost when it wears out of my system. I am medication sensitive, and must be extremely careful. Without any thought, I drank an herbal tea once which left me feeling like I had taken opium. It turns out emoticon not to mix well with what I do take.
In general most don't need to watch as carefully as I, but it is always a good idea to look into it, as they are just as potent as synthetics. This is especially true if you take other medicines.
As for caring it really is difficult to accept any positive qualities. emoticon
I have noted the manner you take responses and post them on your new thread. I think
it is a good idea, and way in which to involve everybody.

I applaud you for accepting yourself as you are. Very caring person and so much more.
So many people have insomnia. I wonder if natural medicine offers some extra ideas...?
That is another good food for thought: Accepting ourselves as we're now, in any weight, or in any situation.
I hope you have a good deep sleep very soon.

Sleep is often underestimated in the role it plays in health. It is a vital component. A big emoticon for the link and reminder. Having a sleep disorder, I well understand how it can affect our daily lives. Today, for example, my mind is not putting its thoughts together well. I almost skipped Sparking, but I need to accept this is who I am. No excuses. So I will flicker a bit, but .continue on keeping my day as restful as possible, and getting the best sleep I can.
You have offered excellent suggestions emoticon

10/19/12 Guard your sleep. Food for Thought!

Sleep is a key to healthy life and a great help with our weight loss.
When we sleep enough, we can control our food choices much better.
Get yourself ready to sleep, by avoiding television close to the time you're planning to sleep.
A warm shower and hot milk may help too.
Mostly, learn to cope with stress, so your thoughts are happy and calm at night.

Any other suggestions how we can sleep better?
