Excellent manner of putting our journey into perspective. Patience is key, and expecting too much out of ourselves is simply self-defeating.
"Men's best successes come after their worst failures"

I'm working in the garden a LOT and that is my exercise for now.
I finished to plant the annual flowers (not many. Our garden is mostly perennials and japanese maple trees in various shapes, size and color).
I bought the Japanese maple trees about 14 years ago, via mail order, as very small seedlings, about 2-3" tall each.
*** It took them 14 years to grow well . Talking about PATIENCE. 14 years! It is rewarding to see a small seedling becomes a tree in 14 years.
PATIENCE is needed in our journey. No matter what happens down the road, if we keep going, we'll reach our goals.
Sometimes we want to reach our goals right NOW. Reality teaches us to be patient and believe that we'll reach our goals some time in the future. When? unknown.
Reaching goals by date may create self pressure, especially if the goals are unrealistic.
One day at a time works with a little bit of patience.
Have a great holiday
