I agree that anything in moderation can be, and is necessary for a healthy diet. Deprivation is is one of the best excuses, and drains our motivation. I am a firm believer in Spark's advocating 80% healthy foods and 20% other. Junk food can easily become a habit. I personally believe that balance is key. My goal is to eat foods with the nutrition to fuel my body.
Even too much of so-called healthy foods are too much.

There are many articles in the nutrition site on this topic. Recently I read an interesting article on can you cheat on your diet and still lose weight? Caught my attention.

My thoughts are everything in moderation.

I think we get into trouble with "junk" foods when they become a staple in our healthful eating.

I think it has a place in a healthy diet, but a very small precentage.
Ideally, I would like to make it 5%-10% of my healthy diet.

Also, there is junk and there is JUNK.....smile
I would go withthe small junk...smile...
