Knowing that I can not be "Perfect" 100%, I do not feel guilty if I'm off plan. Once in a while I'll rebel and eat processed foods that usually I'm not eating, but the key for me is not to feel angry or guilty about it, but to just go back to the basics and immediately follow my plan. I follow the following mantra:
Forgive, forget, and move on!

I agree with Celest! Many recipes I read have no nutritional info. Even though they look really good, I discard them. I know I could go through the process of finding the info, but there are so many other recipes out there that are already labeled, I don't make the effort.
Tracking is the single most important reason for my success. There are many, though. Continuing education is important. Spark People keeps educating me, and I keep finding out things I did not know.
For me success is definitely from clean eating. Nothing works as quicky on the scale or makes me feel thinner as quickly than clean eating. No junk, no sauces, no prepackaged foods. If I cant see the calorie value....I dont eat it.
I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.
