Deprivation is not recommended. Moderate portions, balanced with your healthy eating plan works best for me. Denial only results in my wanting more. Sparks emphasis on percentages makes it a healthy way of getting nutrition, and being able to live without a constant obsessive focus on food.

Great opinion, Sarah. Moderation.

To answer the question... I do. I do.
I allow myself sometimes to eat the "unhealthy" foods, in MODERATION.
I try to make desserts that are healthier.
I'll post two dessert recipes I make often.

If we all were "perfect", the "diet' industry would not exist..... smile...


When you see a book with the word "DIET" in the title, do you really want to get the book?

I will on occasion allow myself small servings of some of those items.

I feel moderation is the key. Just my opinion

...cookies, pop, fried chicken ... etc.......


In your healthy lifestyle, do you find a way to fit sugar and white flour into your"diet" , like cakes and cookies, or do you try to avoid them completely.

Just courious to know how other members make their health plan doable for life.
