We will help each other on this great journey of eating healthy and exercising too to become
the person we are meant to be.

Teresa and Mimi,
I did a blog on my Spark page, today to mention, I will be gone for about 4 days and away from my home and computer, so just to keep you in the loop. I will have to shut down the emails for those days until I return on Monday. Thanks..

Sandi,
I definitely agree. This team is composed of individuals with a great deal of collective wisdom.. All that is required for one of the best resources available is for an on-going focused dialogue. The potential is exciting. I am looking forward to being a part of such a vital group.

Teresa

IRISHEI.....for me this is a great idea! Anything that will get members involvement is key!! I am very interested in this "NEW" team member who is a professional as we all have something to share with each other! I am not new to WW but I certainly need all the support, ideas, motivation and commaraderie I can get. Thanks for this new addition, love it!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon Thank you so much for starting a new important topic. You're great!!!
The recipe looks delicious.
What you can also do, is copy and paste it and post it in our DESSERTS food category.
It just will be so nice to see your smiling face there, and to know that you contributed the recipe.

Especially appreciated are the W8W points+ and full nutrition information.

We've many mvembers that to not follow the W8W plan, but follow other plans, and I'm sure that the full nutrition informations is helpful to them

emoticon Any member who would like to start a new topic is more than welcome. Anything that will make us healthier. Recipes, articles, questions, frustrations, celebrations, motivation, exercise, plateaus, maintenance, W8W guidelines, questions the new Points+ .... and much more.
That will be great help and we appreciate your help.

On this team, our goals are to reach a healthy lifestyle, no matter what healthy plan you're following. Once you've reached your goals weight, comes the more challenging journey of keping the weight off.
It can be done! You can do it!

Although our team's titleindicates that we have superb healthy recipes, we're so much more than that.
We do try to give knowlede for living a healthy lifestle, encourage our members to keep going and reach their goals, lose the weight and then maintain their goal weight for life.

Sharing will make us stronger and commited to keep going.

In my slow cooker there is now a delicious pot roast. I'll share it later and also post it on our Crock Pot food category. The house smells so good!

IRISHEI,
Sharing recipes is mostly what this site is about-in addition to healthy balance. Thank you so much for reminding us all. I often don't share, because I do not use the point system, but I have been contemplating doing so anyway, and letting those who track track in their own manner. We are extremely fortunate to have a new member who is a professional, and has indicated her interest in sharing tips and learning new recipes. emoticon

If anyone has a recipe to share on this site, please post it. We love new recipes.
I received this one from Spark yesterday and it sounds good.
(for me, I am going to use skim milk and stevia for substitutes) Let me know if you try this.

Mousse a la Banana

2 tbsp. 1% milk
4 tsp.sugar
1 tsp.vanilla
1 medium banana, cut in quarters
1 cup plain low fat yogurt
8-1/4 inch banana slices

1. Place milk, sugar, vanilla, and banana in blender. Process 15 seconds at high speed
until smooth.
2. Pour mixture into a small bowl;fold in yogurt. Chill. Spoon into 4 dessert dishes;
garnish with 2 banana slices just for serving.
