I always heard that food you eat while standing "doesn't count", and it was always a joke. I didn't know anyone ever took it seriously.

You had me there for a moment! I was just going to say, "but that goes against everything we've heard about focusing on your food..." It's kind of like eating at the computer (which I do A LOT!)

I only eat standing up when I'm standing by the buffet table. LOL I've never heard the myth that it would burn more calories. I don't think I actually ever eat standing up, not that I can think of anyways.

Not only is this dieting myth not true, but eating like this will cause you to overeat.
you should never eat when standing up unless absolutely necessary.
