I love this workshop, Thanks!

Yes, I do take vitamins, and I spend too much money on them I'm sure. I use Multi-vessence from New Vitality. After my hysterectomy + ovaries at 38, I felt I needed to be extreme, yet before that I probably had not taken an entire bottle in my life.

I have taken multivitamins ever since I can remmber. Naturally, there have been periods, I am certain I have not taken them. I do know, that I have been regular for at least the last ten years. My mother began me as an infant with drops, so I suppose I began the habit somewhat early. I stick the vitamin in with my am pills in the container so they go down at the same time.

Took my vitamins today. I like that the new trackers (I don't have etools) have a box to check off vitamins. It helps me to remember.

Also, my dear sweet hubby usually puts my vitamins and calcium supplements on the table for me at breakfast:)

Generic brand of any vitamins or medicine is okay with me, as long that the pharmacist checkd that ALL of the ingredients are exactly identical for both generic and original brands.
I, personally, take only vitamins that my doctor prescribed to me.

Interesting link. It is a tough one. Each body is different and there are so many factors which enter into which nutrients will be most helpful. Too much of a good thing often is as bad as too little. Sometimes factors will result in some requiring more of less than would be "average". The only thing I have been practicing is keeping myself as informed as possible and listen to what my own body tells me.

Today's Challenge: Take your daily Vitamin, eat 1-2 servings of lean protein, 2 tsp of healthy oil PLUS 6 (8oz) glasses of liquid, drink/eat 2-3 servings of milk products and consume 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables. I know it sounds like a lot but you've been doing most of this for awhile now. Should becoming second nature to you! Come on now...I KNOW you can do this! HONK! HONK! HONK!

Question of the day: Do you feel it necessary to take a specialised version of vitamin (such as woman's or seniors) or is any generic one ok with you?

Now, go take your vity, eat your (lean) proteins, enjoy your oil, drink your liquids and eat your fruits and veggies as well as drink your milk and other dairy products! This should be an easy week. I look forward to everybody participating!
