I head for a nap and then leave the tv alone and do some quilting.

Recharge Your Batteries

...MIMI IS ON VACATION-RECHARGING HER BATTERIES....

Daily Inspiration

If you’re like most people, you will occasionally run low on energy and enthusiasm. It happens to all of us in this busy and demanding world in which we live. Those who seem to find the most peace of mind and happiness are those who know how to recharge their emotional and physical batteries on occasion. For some, that’s what the yearly vacation is all about. For others, it may be mean getting lost in a good book, going to an inspiring lecture, relaxing at a spa, or spending time in a local place of worship. By and large, a person simply must do something to refresh and reenergize.

With that as our foundation today, let me ask you a rather personal question: What do you do to recharge your emotional and physical batteries? If you haven’t given much thought to this topic, I suggest you begin to consider this very important part of staying healthy today. It’s a bit like taking your car in for those regular checkups and oil changes. The better you take care of your car… the longer it will last and the better it will run. The same can be said about your mental and physical self. So when it comes to keeping yourself alert and energetic, what do you do to recharge your batteries?

Wishing You Great Health,
Dr. John H. Sklare
