My favourites are;
-oatmeal with blueberries
-sugar bean soup
-chicken and mushroom stew
Since i have started to eat healthy i have a few foods that i really love!
1. Hummus with Vegie sticks- yummo
2. I love chicken salad
3. Biltong is my fav snack
4. I am also loving fruit salad at the moment since summer is approaching.
It is so nice to get ides from others!
My favourite meals that are weight loss friendly :
Scrambled eggs with tomatoe and a little bit of cheese grated after
Small portions of sushi
Small portions of biltong
IJ Lite Crumbed lemon and herb fish + Salad
Rolled ham with mayo and green pepper (kind of a wrap) - it's an atkins recipe
I really do love the above :)
My favourite foods are:
Breakfast: Greek yogurt with fruit, oat bran and almonds. It takes 5 minutes and keeps me full to lunch.
Lunch: Chicken breast with lots of salads
Dinner: Broth with chicken and loads of veg
Snack: Fruit or cheese
not exactly low calories here... but high protein and no bread/wheat (which is my main concern re:food)
i pound a chicken breast thin, then spread 2 tsp of pesto on top. i then top with some camembert cheese (amount varies depending on how much cheese i need to make me happy ) and then i bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes on 180. delicious and filling! plus something different to do with a chicken breast!
now its summer my favourite meal is chickpea salad - with lots of cucumber cut very small, tomato, peppers, etc and feta cheese (woolworths low fat one) and then lots of mint and lemon juice and a bit of olive oil. The mint makes it delicious and the chickpeas make it filling.
Lets share our favorite low calorie meals. This will help when you have no idea what to eat any more. I must admit, some days I am at loss.....
