I am trying to force myself to hand in the entry form. I am nervous. Last year I was filled with regret when the day came of the big walk and I had not handed in my entry form. I do not want to feel that again. Need to overcome the nerves though.
So sorry I wont be able to join you! I am a bit useless this year :) However, I do want to encourage you to hand in that entry form and GO FOR IT! I'm sure you will enjoy the experience - especially the part where you get handed the medal!!!

I haven't done an organised walk since my youngest (31) was in a pushchair - for DS's school Blisters for Bread - we walked 3kms
Will check it out before I make any rash promises
BTW I don't think I'll be doing the 1000 Challenge - keeping records is far too labour intensive - I'm happy to tell you how many minutes - reckon if I can knock off 500+minutes per week that will have to do! :))
