Hi I think it is a great idea please keep us updated on matches coming up and scores afterwards as I am in USA and don't get results and fixtures in SA time usually date later. I also think the exercise for team points is a very good idea

love the different color food idea! or we could also allow traditional foods of that country (if the colors are kinda hard emoticon )
okay, so, the challenge so far (still would love more ideas!)
1) pick your teams for the different fixtures (i will post the fixtures soon)
2) if your team wins vs. loses changes to your meals (extra treat?)
3) make a meal using the color (or culture?) of winning team - not every time, especially when there are so many games in a day, but at least one. share the recipe.
4) whatever score your team has at the end of the game = extra crunches/pushups/squats/km of walking or running (whatever exercise you choose... maybe can choose different ones for different fixtures)

I really like that idea!
I also had an idea on a nutrition bases. We can make a healthy meal that is the colour of the team that wins, and then share your recipe with others. For eg: If NZ wins, you can make black bean burgers or a blackberry smoothie. If SA wins, you can make a healthy green smoothie (containing Spinach or other healthy greens), or a green salad and golden brown grilled chicken breasts. Just a thought =D All in the name of having fun

i think also whatever score your team has at the end of the game should be how many extra crunches/pushups/squats/km of walking/running you need to do. this way, even while rooting for them to score, you are encouraging yourself to workout...

i can definitely post fixtures and information so that people know what's coming...

I think it's a great idea.
We can also guess what the score is going to be and the one closes to the winning score can have some extra treat.

In short if your team loose it's only salad,
If your team wins it's steak and salad,
if you are the closes to the right score, some extra treat only for you...

Please just tell us before the time who is playing against who, and then the score afterwards. I am not a rugby fan, so I will not watch it. But if you can keep me up to date, I am willing to play along..

It can be fun!!

Hi, I think it's a great idea! I am one of the lucky few wives in this country who's husband is not addicted to rugby - he prefers Grand Prix racing, but I am willing to play along! How about if your team wins you are have a salad and steak for dinner one day in the week, if they lose it's just salad (after all, it's only one meal)?

hi all,
i still think that we should do some kind of fun challenge, and i think the rugby world cup could be the perfect excuse! i'm assuming that most people will be watching, at least when south africa plays. perhaps we should brainstorm a related challenge (exercise to be done depending on scores, or depending on how much is consumed while watching?)

any ideas? do people like this idea?
