I just decided today to do just that. after Juicing I put my mush solids into my old bullet with some water, too. This was after watching the info commercial selling the bullet. I just hated not consuming the whole veggie or fruit.

What I've had to start doing is using my Nutribullet for that part of my juice. I add in all the leafy greens, add in some water and blend. When I'm done I run it through a strainer and then add it to my juice.
I had to start doing it that way because I felt like I was just wasting my greens in my juicer. I have a very cheap centrifugal juicer at the moment and that could be part of the reason. I just ordered a masticating juicer and I'm hoping that will save me this step.
I have found that compacting the greens in the chute before turning the extractor on helps with a slow and consistent extraction. I also have run the pulp a second time and have gotten another ounce or two of that; the pulp is then bone dry. I am looking into a masticating juicer for greens...

I uses an extractor and mix my kale and spinach w/other fruits/veggies, there is no waste.

Kale and spinach I blend into the juice. I first use the juicer for apple, beet, carrots, ginger, etc. But the greens I blend with the juice along with some protein powder and some TJ's green or red powder.
Unless you have a masticating juicer you're yield on leafy greens will not be optimal. That is not to say that you can't get all you can and need out of them.
For spinach, I usually roll the leaves up and add them with a much harder freggie, maybe an apple or a carrot. If not I will just roll them as tightly together as possible(think cuban cigar) and feed the rolled leaves up as slowly as possible.
As far as kale, I found that if I remove the leaves from the stalk from top to bottom in one piece, and roll the leaves on the stalk (again think cuban), I get more juice.
I have a centrifugal juicer too, so I had to come up with a way to get all I could from my greens.
Hope this helps some, it's the best way that I have found to get the juice out.
Hi Everyone, I have been juicing for 2 days now and wanted to find out if my juicer has an issue or if there is a very small yield when juicing these two greens. I get about a tablespoon from handfuls of spinach, and much smaller amount from kale. Thanks
