A couple of my family members have decided they want to start eating better and decided to eliminate most of the junk food from the diet for 6 weeks. Ha, I cheated three times the first day. But now I am serious... why do I want to continue to put things into my body that I know are not good for me??
I did well on day 2, except for the mints given at the end of a restaurant meal - I popped them into my mouth without thinking. So, I realize I need to focus on mindful eating, that is, being aware of everything I put in my mouth.
