I have not done well with this challenge. Took a week off from life and gained 3 lbs. I have vowed to get back on track and have decided that it is best if I give up sugar. Soda, sweet tea and sweets are first up. I am expecting the withdrawals to be bad.

Ok, it's almost the end of this July Challenge. I have done just awful! I had planned to really kick butt this month. Instead, I just fell apart. But it's not too late to get it under control. I'm not giving up!

My calorie range is: 1200 -1550

Hope you were able to get a few more calories in today, Carly.

Not a good day with calories, for me. Went to McDonalds, with coworkers for breakfast. Had the Cinnamon Melts. Which turned out to be a terrible choice. 460 Cal. 66 g.carbs & 19 g. fat.
I had no idea ! I picked them because they looked small & were inexpensive.

Total calories today: 1715
Over by 165 calories

Goal 1200 -1500 calories

Actual: 598 calories

I am going to try and eat some more tonight...

My problem is that I am eating too few calories and working out a lot. I am tired and emotional because of it. However, my hunger is so minimal. I feel like the reason why is that I drink 12-16 8oz cups of water per day... I may be drinking too much!

I am not losing weight and I need to get this under check!

Well, I am really, really doing just awful. emoticon

I am ashamed at how bad my calorie intake has been. I promised myself that I was really going to kick butt in July. Instead, this long 4th of July weekend has kicked my butt.

I am not giving up! Tomorrow is a new day and I can do this. I am going to concentrate on tomorrow. Forgive myself, for this past week, which has been out of control. And pull myself out of this tailspin.

Oh my gosh, SunnyArizona, there's no need to examine! I know exactly what my problem is.
Which is why I'm sitting here at this plateau, month after month. But it's time to get serious. I know I might have some bad days, but I am really going to work hard on keeping my calories down.

Stay within your calorie range, everyday.

I'm having trouble with this. I am hoping that by making my calorie intake public, I'll start to do better. Anyone else who needs to be accountable or who would like to be a good example, to the rest of us. Please post once a day.

So here goes:
