@smiles_can_do, I am totally hooked.I really like running now that I know I can do it. I am working on increasing my endurance right now, and I am going to train all summer. Hopefully next spring I will be prepared enough for a half...Just recently I added a full marathon to my bucket list. Also, I would love to add a triathlon to my bucket list too, but that costs a lot more money than running does.

It's a good cause I am sure. And you may be surprised how far yo can run.

Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible and suddenly you will be doing the impossible -- St Francis of Assisi

Ha!! Nice!! You're hooked, right?? It's a great way to exercise and lots of fun!! Congratulations- that's awesome!! I've registered for a Glo Run that I'm looking forward to- something with a little twist, a run at night. These runs are usually not timed, but they're lots of fun! I look forward to hearing more from you!!

I decided to do the 5 mile at the last minute instead of the 2 mile...but it was amazing. I finished in 54 minutes, and was 131st place. Not the greatest, but I finished AND ran 3 miles more than I was planning.

"Only 2 miles" is pretty awesome!! Have tons of fun, and let us know how you do!!! If you are up to 2.5 miles in practice, you are set for a 5K race any time you want to do one. You're doing great!

I can't figure out which board to place this on...so I hope I am putting it in the right place. I just wanted to say I am running my first run tonight. It is only a 2 mile run, but it is awesome. And, in my practices I am only up to 2.5 miles anyway, so I don't think I could do more than that.

Anyway, it is the Just Us run for Justice. All the proceeds go to the International Justice Mission to help end world trafficking and slavery.
