HAHA yea running in a light drizzle is ok but running in a downpour - not so much. Other than me feeling sorry for myself when that happens it scares the garmin watch and hooray for the awesome new insurance that we went to at work this year that does NOT cover orthotics. I find that I'm a bit more picky with those things now that it will cost $400 to replace them.

I am running my first 13.1 this morning. I spent all week agonizing over the rain reports and have woken up to a dry morning! Hurray!

It looks like, if I can finish in two hours, I may just avoid the rain!! Talk about incentive for speed :)

No racing for me this weekend. Good thing, too, because they are calling for rain all weekend. I can hear thunder rumbling off in the distance as I write this.

I did, however, do 2 races last weekend (a 5K and a relay sprint tri in which I did a 10 mile bike and 5k run), and I have a half marathon next weekend in Miami. It will be my 5th HM in 5 mos!

If the weather holds out I plan on an ocean swim and at least one run 8-10 miles in preparation for next week's race.

I have an 8k that I do every year with the dog so its just for fun. I'm still recovering from last weekend's half so it's good timing for a dog run.
