I'm totally late with this, but it was a great race this year, I PRd which is always nice!

Random question to the original poster, you wouldn't happen to have been wearing a wool kilt during the race, were you? My friend and I were chatting with a man at the start who very closely resembles you (we were talking about the Hot Chocolate 15k in DC). That wasn't you by any chance was it?

Anyhoo, about the 2009 race, I was registered, but I live an hour and a half away, so I didn't risk coming down for it, but if I lived closer I totally would've done it, it would've been so fun!

None this year. Race temp forecast to be 35F, partly cloudy, 10% chance of precip. See my blog though for a chance to view a video of the race from 2009.

5 miles in Baltimore's Druid Hill Park. Two years ago 3000 runners registered but a blizzard arrived the same day. Still, 300 people showed up to run.

This is a good race.
