Thank you everyone. Mine arrived today in time for my run; I ordered them from Roadrunnersports.com. So far I really like them. Yes, they are lighter than the Pegasus. I wore them with an insole that I also ordered from RRS - it's the RRS Bounce insole. I might need to try wearing a different pair of socks but that's ok. All in all it's a great shoe and it fits my foot nicely. I wear a size 5 shoe so I ordered the 5 1/2; the 5 1/2 is just right.

I just ordered a pair of the 890s (v1) - am excited to try them out. I usually run in 880s.

they are light and feel great. I enjoy the comfort and have used them for 5k to half marathons

Never tried those in particular but I do like New Balance in general. I also love the Nike. Reeboks have hurt me pretty bad before on runs...knocked me right out.

I'm going to buy the Ryka Aspire. I'm hoping they are pretty good.

Does anyone wear the NB 890v2? I'm getting a pair to replace my Nike Pegasus. I always liked the Pegasus but the model I'm wearing now, plus the models that Nike continues to make, are being made bigger. The toe box is too big. I have to wear a thick sock to take up some of the room. I know a lot of people would welcome this change but I don't like it. I have a very small foot and a high arch. I was told that the NB 890v2 is a good alternative. Any one have any input? Thanks!
