Tried it out on a 10 mile run this past weekend. If I had to use one word to describe it, I would use SWEET! This is the most comfortable pack I've ever had. Lightweight, no bouncing and it has pockets on the straps for gels or whatever. Very easy to customize the fit to your shape and size. I was able to drink on the run without any problem and very little thought.
I would definitely give this pack two thumbs up.
Neither real food, nor exercise, come from a box. 2013 Races: Beat Coach Pete 5k 4/13 Gunfighter HM 6/1 Barefoot Boise 10k 9/14
The fuel belts were very impractical and cumbersome for me. I can do fine without water on a 5k (depending on temps). For 8k and up, I like the Camelback backpacks. Otherwise, plant water on your regular running route to avoid having to carry too much, or put it in one spot and loop back to your hydration. GL!
I appreciate it too, I had much the same question.
"Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come" (1Timothy4:7-8)
"Jesus answered, 'The most important [commandment] is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength'" (Mark 12:29-30).

I have the Nathan hydration pack (the one that holds two smaller bottles with a pouch in the middle for GU or some other small item). I really like it. It doesn't move around at all and I like having two small bottles rather than one larger one. Some people don't like the size of the pouch (it's pretty small) but my cell phone fits in it (an I Phone probably wouldn't though). It's perfect for me though.
I'm training for my first half marathon and am starting to get into the longer runs. I want to get some sort of hydration pack to take with me so I can stay hydrated. I'm looking at the Amphipod RunLite pack. Has anyone had experience with this brand? What about bottle wastepacks? I don't need anything fancy - I'm just looking for something to hold my water and my keys/gel packs and for the water bottle to not leak.
