(Good question. My 405 is getting squirrely and I was wondering about suitable replacements... Piggybacking for the responses!)

Anyone have it? I spoke with a Garmin representative at the race expo over the weekend b/c my 305 battery is about to die. He said it's $80 and a 2 week turnaround to get a refurbished 305 that may last another 6 months. Or, I could find a new 110 online for about $140 or so and then have a good backup in case the Garmin dies.
I bring up the 110 only because it ONLY has the features on the 305 that I actually use. The 305 has a lot of extra stuff I never use and I'm extremely techno-phobic.
