I've lost weight but haven't noticed a difference in my appearance. However, I have a pair of pants that have always been too tight, and I stopped wearing them when it was just too uncomfortable, and now I can wear them again and they fit better than they did before. Also, when my mom saw me for the first time in a month, she commented that I looked skinnier.

So, I dragged myself out of bed this morning, and went for a run. Definitely a NSV. Since my cold isn't completely gone yet, my expectations were low. I told myself I only needed to do 2 ten minute running intervals, with one minute of walking in between. Once I got going, I did attempt the third running interval, but struggled with that one. But mI'm still proud of myself for getting up and doing it. And the next one should be easier.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend.

Almost two weeks as a active member and keeping my streaks going, my wife gave me a hug this morning and was able to touch her hands behind my back for the first time in years. It almost brought her to tears. Then it brought me to tears, Then the cats started crying. There we were, everybody just standing there crying. lol

I've been more consistent with making healthy dinners for us (my husband and 4-yr old). I'm using the menu planner right now and it has been a tremendous help. I've also been eating tons more fresh fruit and veggies. It's so easy to clean an apple or something, but it used to seem like such a chore. I don't know what I was thinking.

I'm just proud of myself for putting down my fork when I am full. I am a terrible emotional eater and me overcoming that is a huge accomplishment.

I ran 1.5 miles in 18 minutes. That's my longest run to-date. I hope to repeat that tomorrow and maybe go a little longer or maybe even go a little faster.

I know it seems trivial, but I was finally able to eat food with at least my top partial. This teeth thing, or lack there of, has been really taxing for me, I've even lost a few pounds, just because I didn't want to eat with them in. ***sigh*** I'm really going to try to eat with both uppers and lowers tomorrow.

Sometimes it's the little things that keep us going. Please list here ANY Non-Scale Victories you have had. Be it- eating more veggies, or getting into a different size jeans, or even being able to keep to a schedule. We want to hear them, we want to share them.

Remember: Every small victory is a big step in getting to where we want to be!
