Mine are to keep in mind my goals and to do something to work towards that. Like I pretty much know what's for dinner tomorrow night, so I will be making sure I get some activity in between tonight and tomorrow to compensate for that. I know that I want to eat/drink whatever I want, but I am not going to go hog wild.
I would never talk to my BFF the way I talk to myself about my body.
