What is bad and what is good? The schools are cutting portions and protein. My grandkids are effected by this and they are not big eaters.

I think taxing the junk food is only going to open up a huge can of worms. Because who is going to define what junk food is? Vegetarians would argue that meat is junk food, while I would argue that it's a necessity. I also don't want to see the politicians defining what junk food is because the term junk food is subjective to who is defining it.

That's part of the problem it is so easly to blame others than our selves. They don't teach it in schools like they should and lots of kids don't get it from their parents or other family members.

Why pay more taxes and give more control to the government? We need to take responsibility for ourselves and grow up.

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2016. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2016 to be back to below 155 by

All depends on WHO would determine what was "good or bad"??

I've already noticed some things are taxed....things that I only buy 'once in a blue moon'.....

YES, TAX THE JUNK STUFF. THEY'VE PROVED IT ISN'T GOOD FOR US. BUT I DON'T BELEIVE THAT WE NEED SO MANY SUBSIDIZED THINGS. INSTEAD OF DOING THAT WHY DON'T WE PAY OFF OUR DEPT? emoticon
