Chocolate has GOT to be better than the race in DC where half way through the Half Marathon you had to stop and eat and swallow a half smoke --- that is a large sausage similar to a bratwurst.

I'm pretty confident that I run for chocolate. Could be a nice pick me up come mile 7.

Not sure about Heroes on the Hines. If I do that race, I'll probably run the 5K for fun.

Seriously chocolate....I'll have to check that one out.

I'm also considering "Heroes on Hines Half Marathon" October 5th.

I did the one in san francisco. The chocolate mile is great. You will definitely be eating some. It's fabulous chocolate. In little sizes - easy to eat on the run.

Anyone else running the first ever Detroit Women's Half-marathon? It looks like it's going to be a fun race. I'll be curious to see what the chocolate mile is like... somehow I don't really see myself eating chocolate during a race but you never know. emoticon
