I ran the race on Sept 15. It was well organized, and you can't beat the price. Plus the shirt was great. :)

I'm not running it this year, but this was my first HM in 2011. It was a really nice race and was well organized. Not too big, rather flat and a really scenic view.

Looks nice! It's great to see a race doing so many things right:
- reasonable price ($50) includes long-sleeve tech shirt & medal - free parking - race morning packet pickup - free post-race showers - modest field (1500) yet with age group awards 5 deep in 5-year groups - free beer & pizza at finish

I've decided I want to do this run on September 15th. Anyone else doing this one? I just did 7 miles for the first time this morning!
Yummy. Chocolate muffin... great post-workout food :)
