It's also on my bucket list but I'll have to appease myself with the Jacksonville Marine Corps Half in October. I've done it the past 2 years and it's a pretty awesome race encompassing a run through the downtown area, over two bridges and through the neighborhoods of Jacksonville, FL. I will however be supporting the military on the weekend of the Historic USMC by running in the Freedom 8k to benefit the Wounded Warrior project in Green Cove Springs, FL. My son is a LCPL in the Marines and I try to hit any of the races in my area that support the Troops.

Dr Dani is in town that week, and I tried to get her to run it, only because she is in town, but she is running in a relay Half on 5/18 and has opted to not run. But she will run in the Baltimore MCVET 5k or 10k on 5/26. I run both.
Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible and suddenly you will be doing the impossible -- St Francis of Assisi
That race is on my bucket list, but alas, I'm booked solid this year. Maybe next year.
