Hi!! I was just looking into doing this but am a bit on the fence about it.. I used to run quite a bit (never more than 5k though) about 4 years ago and since my daughter things have kinda went down hill and I really want to get back into it. I know there is a good chance that I won't be able to run the whole thing, maybe not even half, but I really want to try it out. It would also be my first race too.. which also makes it a bit crazier of an idea. There is a lot of time to train and get back into it though. Who knows.. I think I should just go for it! What do you think??

Darn, I would never pass the physical! That pesky testosterone.

Sounds like a good race. I can't do it this year, but I know . You have plenty of time to train. If you can't run the entire course, you can do walk intervals. That is what I do. The goal is to cover the distance, whatever works for you.

Anyone planning to participate in the Niagara Falls Women's Half Marathon in June? If so, I am interested in hearing about your training and perhaps encouraging each other along the way. I plan to do it but as of today am not really sure I could run a whole km but I'm going for it anway.
