Yeay! I'm so excited! It's just me running this one (my first) so I probably won't go way over the top with costumes but I love the idea that it's all women and champagne/ roses at the finish line? Yes please!

This is the easiest time of year to get tutus if you want them because Halloween is coming! Kid frufru skirts have elastic waists, so they do accommodate a variety of sizes.

Nice! We have shirts - we all belong to an online running group together - and the boas and tiaras were a big part of conning... er, ENCOURAGING some of my friends to do this! :) I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun!

I'd love to do Puerto Rico next year, but my vacation funds are being eaten up quickly!

Pink hair coloring would be fab at this race, and it's a perfect event for tutus if you want. Group costumes added to the experience. There were 6 women dressed as Wonder Woman!

This is after the race, so you can see the tiaras and boas. The after the race photo lines were way long, so we took our own photos on the reverse side of the professional photo area instead.

I and 7 of my closest friends are running! :) We're so excited! Coming to LI on Friday night and staying through Monday.

Note to self: I still need to pick up pink hair dye.

Hey, I just remembered. My avatar photo is me right after the Diva race!

FYI, the line to pick up race bags (with jackets and such inside) post-race was ridiculous like over an hour in line. You might want to skip bringing a bag like that given a choice. Or email them to see how they've changed their system.

One thing I really enjoyed about this race was I saw women racing of all ethnicities.

There were a lot of new runners who ran Galloway, and when their timers beeped they would grind to a walk in the middle of the path rather than moving to a side of the path.
