Yeah and then RnR didn't record my time. Oops. They will fix it I am sure. At least I had my Garmin running. I am so glad it wasn't even close to a PR. And so glad I remembered to turn it off after I crossed the mat.

on the lake side or the street side? I only went in from the lake side.
I will wear my Orioles hat, a grey Charm City Run tee shirt -- just a sneaker sole print on the front -- The Sole of the City -- and my greatest fashion faux pas, jorts. And Brooks Adrenaline 11th edition (red).
Ok so now if I get lost in Chicago, you can tell the cops what I am wearing.

I'm getting in from the Twin Cities around 11 AM so it's probably that I will be at the expo between 2 and 3. I know the place where the expo is well enough but not well enough to suggest a meeting place.
We could say the entry doors around 2 PM? I'll be wearing my grey Grandmas Marathon t-shirt. I'll wait outside the doors to the left as you face them going in.
Otherwise we'll try to meet up at the other location in the AM. Hope to see you!

Registration is open still ... what do you have to lose? OK Except $150, but other than that. Yep that's the expo price. It pays to get in early.

I already went today, but if KKinea wants to go about that time, I could try to be game. I am planning to do some museums tomorrow. But I could shoehorn another visit sometime in there. Oh. And there is a Black Hawks show at the Chicago Hilton and I want to get Mike a jersey. So I can squish that in there too.

I will be at Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park about an hour before the horn. It's between Columbus & Lakeshore below Jackson near Congress.
You're at the Palmer right? It's about a 15 minute walk. East on Monroe, right on Jackson. When you cross Columbus angle left into the park toward the BIG A$$ fountain or continue straight to Congress and turn left into the park toward the BIG A$$ fountain.
Did I say it was BIG A$$ED? It is.

What sounds like a good plan? I'm not familiar enough with the park to say a good place to meet. My plan was to get to the area around 5:30 AM.

I'm in! I'm staying at The Palmer House so I'm fairly close to the race start. Let me know if you find a good place to meet up!
