Woo hoo! Had a great race. It wasn't a PR (I wasn't really going for a PR this race though) but it was my best time since last November (and that race was a lot flatter). So I'll take it! :) Best part was that I felt pretty good after the race. And here I am two days later and I'm not in pain. That says a lot for overall fitness I think. Anyway, half marathon number 10 is in the books and now I am ready for number 11 at the end of next month! :) 'Cause I'm a fanatic you know. LOL!
Nashville Women's Half Marathon is this Saturday! I'm wearing a running dress, white Nike hat, black capris, and black arm warmers (if needed in the AM). So if you see me (my name will be on my bib) then come say hi! :)
WOO HOO! That is so exciting! This will be my first year doing 4 Bridges (of course, I think it is only the second year they've done it) and I've heard good things about the race. I started training a couple of weeks ago since I'm doing the Nashville Women's at the end of September. I'll just keep my training up after that race until Bridges. I want to PR at Bridges if possible.
