Congrats! That was my first half as well. Finishing was the best feeling, I definitely want to do it again.
Congrats! I ran the I-half challenge too! The number of runners in the 5k was crazy. It was only my 2nd half and I am signing up for the 2013 race ASAP! The course is great and cheerleaders and crowd are even better!

Congratulations! I'm so jealous of your run. Wish I could have run it with you as my family live in that area but I'm stuck down south in Florida. Maybe next year I'll have to come visiting about this time.

I finished my first 1/2 Marathon yesterday and a 5K on Friday night. I completed the 1/2 marathon beating my goal time by 26 minutes. It was a good run and I was able to meet my goal of running this race even though I was slowed down by my blood clots in December. The clots interfered with my training and at times I did not think I would make it thru the training. But with the encouragement of my family, I did it.
